Nancy Cunneen

Board Member

Nancy Pasternak is an award-winning TV news anchor/reporter, on-camera and voice-over talent, producer, writer and content creator. Pasternak studied broadcast journalism and political science at the University of Missouri.

Pasternak has worked as a freelance host, writer and story producer for the Higher Education Channel in St. Louis since 2006. She also works as a freelance video producer/writer for production companies including Spot Content Studio and Catalyst Communications in St. Louis and Jennifer Davis Communications in Washington, D.C. She recently also became the new media writer/content creator for Karuna Beverages, located in St. Louis.

Together with Spot, she produced the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District's first-ever Virtual Reality tour of the Local Meramec Treatment Plant. She also helped co-produce a series of Public Service Announcements for MSD which were nominated in 2019 for a Mid-America Emmy Award.

Nancy has worked with numerous corporate and civic organizations. She produced and voiced a series of medical/health reports for Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. She also hosted "Charter Connections" - a show features on Charter Communications. Pasternak has also worked as on-air talent for Kantola Productions, the Bob Costas Gala, IBEW internal videos and for Siteman Cancer Center. She's collaborated and produced various videos for clients including St. Louis University, Johns Hopkins University, MSD, Mid-America Transplant Services and the Missouri History Museum. She appeared in a national TV commercial for U.S. Auto Protection.

Pasternak produced reports on medical and health advances and women's issues for Ivanhoe News Service which aired on tv news stations across America.

Pasternak was Weekend Anchor/Weeknight Reporter for KTVI-TV, the Fox affiliate in St. Louis, Missouri for 10 years. She's also written articles for Patch.com and LightEd. Before her time in St. Louis, Nancy was a news anchor/reporter for WALA-TV (NBC) in Mobile, AL, WLOX-TV (ABC) in Biloxi, MS and KOMU (NBC) in Columbia, MO. She's also hosted/reported for KBIA-FM (NPR) in Columbia, MO.

For her work in tv news and programs, Nancy has been awarded 10 Regional Emmy awards from the Mid-America chapter of NATAS. She also produced a piece for MSD called "A Day in the Life" that won a 2017 National Telly Award and a piece she co-produced in 2021 was a Webby Award 'honoree'.

Nancy is active in her community serving on the Board of the CSP Tideriders swim club and volunteering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace.
